Write your answers in your notebooks.
For a bit of fun you might want to watch the video which can be found on the Colossus of Rhodes link.
Good luck at your quest ;)
Unit 1 - project: Your lists of interesting things.
You can work in groups of 2 or 3.
1) Find a list of 10 most "something" places or things. For example, you might like one of the following:
7 Wonders of Nature
22 unbelievable places
10-amazing-geological-features
the-33-most-beautiful-abandoned-places-in-the-world
top-10-most-romantic-places-in-world
10-most-haunted-places-in-the-world
10 craziest things that have fallen from the sky
Or you might come up with your own ideas. Let's say, the most luxurious hotels in the world, or the most dangerous animals, or whatever.
2) Choose at most 5 items from one list. Choose 1 photo for each of the things you want to present (5 photos total). Put them in a powerpoint presentation.
tip: High resolution images will look much better on the whiteboard. Try to find images at least 800 pixels wide.
3) Find basic information about each of the places or things. For example where it is, what makes it special, when it was built (if it's a structure) etc.
Important: Don't just copy the information from the internet! You'll have to write something in simple words. Remember that you want your classmates to understand what you're saying!
4) You will present your list at class.
